A-List Weekend Reading

It's Friday again! Yahoo!

This week Daly painted the rest of her living room PINK. Benjamin Moore Wild Aster to be specific (you can see the same color in this pretty bedroom.) You may recall she recently painted her TV wall blush, but now all all four walls are covered in this beautiful color. Blush is a big deal for 2017. Not only in the Daly household, but here. Now she thinks she needs these to finish up the room. And then maybe install this in her hallway. Daly has big dreams as you can see.

Succulent Care Guide: High vs Low Light Succulents

Succulent Care Guide: High vs Low Light Succulents

Our succulent expert and dear friend Sara says succulents are the camels of the plant world–draught tolerant, wind tolerant, the toughest plants you'll find. Tough as nails on the outside, hearts of gold on the inside. Though these plants are as resilient as camels, proper treatment is still necessary.

A 1920s Tulsa Owen Park Sears Kit Home

We first met Emily Netz at The Alliday Show a few years ago. She made and sold beautiful brass air plant hangers. She and I (Daly) figured out that we were both pregnant and due within a few days of one another. The excitement and anxiety of impending parenthood bonded us, but I must admit enjoying our friendship on the background of her beautiful homes has been a nice perk.

Emily and her affable husband Jeff flip houses, and if I were a house, I'd want them flipping me. They take care to respect the home's character and breathe fresh life into the walls. All the while, they are raising their sweet, handsome boys Theo and Auggie.

Our pal Janie's before and after of a vintage tufted sofa made it onto Apartment Therapy. So fun!

Daly took a little retreat to Dallas and stayed in a lovely airbnb with an insanely beautiful backyard and walking distance from the Bishop Arts District. Coffee and food were great at Mudsmith, Oddfellows, Bolsa, and Weekend Coffee. Shopping was fun at We are 1976 and Curiosities.
