/Simple and Earthy Christmas Decorations
Two dear friends shared beautiful photos of their holiday homes with us, and we are happy to be able to let you sneak a peek too. First up is Holly Blackwood, our Shop Manager. Her non-holiday home tour can be found here. I love how her decor is greenery plus a handful of Christmas keepsakes. It’s very calming. Some of her green is from Palmer’s juniper tree…that tree served a lot of homes this December. Enjoy her pretty pictures and after hers, I’ll tell you about the other home…a handmade + vintage approach to decor by our friend Abbey Wells, of You Are Photo Co.
Handmade Macrame Holiday Decor
Enter Abbey Wells’ home with a tree freshly draped in handmade macrame bunting (Tasha of House Sparrow Fine Nesting taught her the ropes. Pun absolutely intended.). Abbey’s decor is layered with vintage, handmade, personally meaningful pieces–as is the rest of her house decor. She made tons of other festive bunting and strands last year…and I hope she’ll make new ones each year. Abbey, would you be in for a blog post of bunting and bunting alone?
Anyway, with Christmas days away, it just felt right to share more photos of super pretty decorating. Whether you have decor up or not, celebrate Christmas or not, like green peas or not…we hope you have a nice last few days of 2018. Next year is almost here, and we can feel the fresh brightness of January flirting with us on the other side. Can’t wait to share another year with you of making meaningful homes that support meaningful lives.
