*after: bold, beautiful whimsical floral*

Us Ashleys love a good floral, but don't we all? However, not all florals are created equal and when this pair of rattan loungers entered the shop, we knew their floral upholstery had seen better days. Much better days. Though the original upholstery was probably once beautiful, the cushions were thread bare and even ripped in some places.

What we saw was potential. That's right, potential! With their curved, golden arms and loungey, bohemian vibe, we knew these ladies were destined to be grand. Fun fact: Palmer had a pair similar to these in her sunroom for years and loved sitting in them more than on her couch (that particular pair ended up at the Sharpe House where they still lead beautiful lives).

We left the loungers as is for a while until Daly stumbled upon the perfect fabric at a Tulsa estate sale. This fabric is the most beautiful, whimsical vintage floral you have ever laid eyes upon. No, we're serious. Scroll down and look. We weren't lying, right? Just lovely!

Armed with the perfect floral update for these rattan beauties, Janie (of Retro Den Upholstery Repair Team), worked her magic and whipped up some fresh cushions. The end result is perfection. We were right. They were destined to be grand.
