We cannot believe another year has passed at Retro Den here in Tulsa. We can't say it enough–thank you to everyone who has supported us through the years making it possible for us to continue to pursue our weird dreams. This year has been full of its ups and downs as all years, but we thought we'd take a moment to relive some of our highlights!

We welcomed Holly Blackwood as our first employee! We are so grateful to have such a kind, smart and stylish woman on our team. Thanks for all you do, Holly!
We styled so many lovely clients' homes! Look for more before and after blog posts next year. We have some great ones to share with you!

We compiled our succulent knowledge masterpiece–The Succulent Care Calendar–filled with all we have ever learned from Succulent Sara and organized by monthly tasks and tips.
We spilled our secrets as vintage shop owners and compiled a vintage shopping guide for Tulsa! It includes all types of shops we like to frequent from thrift stores to antique malls. Check them out if you're in town!
Tasha Ball built us a giant macrame plant hanger in the shop.
We started a new local collaboration with other creatives called The House That Tulsa Built. We hope to continue this next year!
We decorated our homes, duh. Have another look at Daly's bathroom!
Palmer remodeled her kitchen this year. It's done!

Daly did a lot of home projects that each have one more detail left to finish. Someday she'll be able to share photos of these rooms!
Ashley Daly finally bought a wall clock.
We started our weekly design round-up on our blog– A-List Weekend Reading!
We planted 8 million succulents and dunked 4 million air-plants.

We hosted several workshops with local creatives like the Urban Acres, House Sparrow Fine Nesting & Owl & Drum.
We hosted another successful and fun Alliday Show!
We invited our business besties to move into our shop with us and started building their studio spaces. Come 2018 you'll be able to find Mary Make & Do, Owl & Drum, Laurel & Marie, and House Sparrow Fine Nesting in the shop!
Our sweet girls, Harriet, 2, and Caroline, 3, continue to greet customers and become expert furniture sales women. They share what it means to be the daughters of vintage store owners–a sacred bond. Word on the street is that come May, we'll have a young man to similarly train up. Is that true, Ashley Palmer?
