We've been making blanket forts at my house lately...it makes the house a mess, but it's so fun and the very picture of childhood. It's fun seeing my furniture with new eyes–"Will this be sturdy enough to drape a blanket over it???" Our rule is to demolish the structure by nightfall; what are your in-house blanket tent rules?

This year I've been whining about the turnout of my cut flowers, but, to be fair, I have had enough each day I needed some. I had enough Saturday for a friend's birthday and enough earlier in the week to give my day a boost. I can definitely be thankful for just enough and not more than enough.

Meanwhile, we caught up with a home styling client from a bit back and got to help resettle the updates she took on since we last saw her, we celebrated Janie's birthday (AKA the lady behind Janie's Upholstery, AKA Ashley Palmer's mom, AKA Ashley Daly's dream conversationalist and friend), and I (Daly) smashed my finger at the gym in a locker so badly I got sweaty and sick and had to sit down (All in front of some teenaged boys! The nightmare of it all!). I don't know about you, but it's about time to sit down and peruse some high quality internet content featuring gorgeous homes and amazing interior design inspiration.
