Front Porch Potting Station

A few weeks ago we shared our home potting stations with you. If you read that post, you know we strongly support dedicating spaces in your home to things you value, which for us, includes plants. Creating a space to tend to and care for your plants is part of our pledge to plant care we declared last year. Are you with us?!

We are happy to report we both have been using our planting stations this summer despite the 90+ degree Oklahoma heat. Just last week, Palmer repotted a purple heart and two snake plants and propagated a cactus.

But enough about us. This post is about another potting station in our lives. Well, in our friend Abbey's life. We like to think that Abbey was so inspired by our potting stations that she had to make one of her very own. Right, Abbey? ;)

Abbey chose a vintage industrial cart as her stand. We feel this is an excellent choice due to 1) its ample amount of shelving and work space, 2) the fact it has wheels so she can easily move it (for cleaning? delivering a heavy plant to its home?), and 3) its aesthetic appeal. Overall, the result is both beautiful and functional. Good for you, Abbey and Abbey's plants, good for you.

Please take a few minutes to enjoy Abbey's front porch potting station! All photos are credited to You Are Photo Co., Abbey's documentary photography company.
